I purchased the Olu Mino style slipper because I recently had surgery on my toe and wearing standard flip flops was difficult. While the slipper style worked OK for my toe, I was very disappointed in the fit and design of these slippers. The sole was very stiff and the arch support design did not work well with my foot. I have several other pairs of Olukai flip flops and they work fine for me but this style did not. I think that Olukai may have missed the mark on this shoe.

My husband would live in flip flops all year if the weather would allow, but even though we're not Minnesota cold, it still gets cold in Northern California, so the answer is to be able to wear socks...enter the Ulele 'Olu Minnesota! Problem solved! He was not pleased with me for spending the money -- these quote literally sat in their box for over a month, and as I was getting ready to return them, he snatched them away and said, "well, let me give them a try". I have to say except for bed, these rarely are off his feet! I dropped one star to four because they do occasionally just fall off his foot as he's coming downstairs, which can be a hazard...he shall be 77 in November and I don't want a broken hip! I highly recommend this store. I shall be purchasing other shoes for my husband from OluKai! Quality product. Shipping was wonk, it kept getting sent back to San Jose, then back up to Redding CA a couple times, but eventually, it was received. Thank you OluKai!
